He guided the Virginia Coalition on Solitary Confinement through bipartisan growth that led to the virtual elimination of solitary confinement being passed by the Republican controlled House, the Democratic controlled Senate, and signed by the Republican Governor in 2023.

He served as Del. Kaye Kory's Commerce & Energy policy lead where he would quickly learn all facets of complex policies by collaborating with industry experts and public interests groups in order to find the best path forward.
